I understand your code doesn't import into Drupal. There's a lot of information I can get about what needs to happen to do that from your application though. Actually, if I know how to make blogML from a drupal database, the understanding what needs to happen should be mostly out of the way and all that's left is the plumbing.Anyway, thanks for the quick reply. The only line I couldn't get to compile was a line in Program.cs that was FindLast on one of the Active Record collections. I replaced that with Last and that made it happy.

@bbehrens I'm not sure my code will be what you're looking for as it took drupal content and exported to blogML rather than taking blogML and importing into Drupal. The tool was created a few years ago and I haven't maintained it but I can take a look at what's no longer working if it's still of interest to you...

I have to migrate blogs from Community Server to Drupal. There's nothing out there (that I've found) that will import BlogML into Drupal. I found your application here and it looked interesting to me. I downloaded it from Google Source but I unfortunately can't get it to compile. The binaries you reference in the project appear to be absent from the source code. I resolved them all except for SubSonic 2.0.2. I can't find that anywhere. Do you have a copy of v 2.0.2 Subsonic.dll and the associated binaries with that release?

In the past 2.5 years (since coming to the UK):Python (enough to write a small GAE app)Ruby (enough to write a small rails app and read others ruby code, which is itself worth while!)Obj-C (enough to know whats going on and read it, but the frameworks are HUGE, so thats about as far as I got. I did have a Obj-C iphone app in the appstore, but ported it to MonoTouch recently)PHP (bbc.co.uk homepage, baby!)Does CSS (enough to do some basic stuff) and HTML (same) count? I knew it before, but not enough to DO anything. Same with JS.pl/pgsql or whatever postgresql's stored proc language is called. Enough to port an AfterMail-sized app to PG. Makes T-SQL look like a load of crap (which is it, really), tho has it's limitations too.Obj-C is the one I got really hung up on. Memory management is something I dont EVER want to do again, and with MonoTouch, there was always a better way to do it, so I resisted and resisted. I can read it, but I dont enjoy writing it at all.5 - or 7 - Not bad for 2.5 years.... In my bucket for the near future: Silverlight/XAML. Not done any at all. And actually USE the ones above, esp Python/Java for GAE and MonoTouch (CocoaTouch + c#) for iphone. Preferably together.
