Summer Madness

Summer has hit hard in the last week or two, Today the temperature was ridiculous and didn't help me trying to sleep and rest off the effects of yesterday, an all day BBQ at Sian and Greg's place.
Everyone seems to have gone mad with the heat.. Emmelie and George, two of my flatmates, have been on a very intensive weekend binge! George has been up for 3 days without sleep and somehow was still standing when Emmelie left him an hour or two ago. I seriously suspect he will have to fall on his arse some time soon
as for Luke, he's been out with a Lady all weekend also drinking excessively.. maybe it's the heat or maybe it's the world cup but the whole city seems to have gone a little mad.The night time sounds remind me of Summer of Sam, I never understood the City sounds recorded until i spent a summer night with my window open last year, the heat seems to amplify the sounds.Katy's off at a concert tonight, and I'm feeling a little sorry for her, we were both more than a little worse for wear this morning and i don't think that she could be feeling much better in an outdoor concert by Bon Jovi. No doubt there will be a certain amount of hair of the dog.Hope everyone is enjoying the World Cup and the glorious sun shine... Only 3 days till I'm in Barcelona.
