So the Easter weekend is over. And I’m reminded that I actually have a job to do, and that I still don’t make use of my free time well enough, I’ve just had two days which have been spent not actually getting much done (one nursing a hang over and one just generally lazing about and cleaning my room/bathroom). But the weather is so nice that I am reminded that I enjoy my life enough to smile
Anyway so I’ve got to start making some long term goals again, as I seem to have let them drift in the last year or so… my last one was when I joined Cresta, saying that I would become a programmer in 1 year, which I did….
I just can’t help but think that maybe I’m going to never act on my bigger plans to be self employed etc. so I might have to make a list.
Within the next year I will:
Live within my means and have no more credit card debt. (My loans are going to take a hell of a lot longer to pay off)
Never have a weekend when I spend both daytimes at home.
Find another form of exercise to fit in with the squash and cycling I’ve taken up since New Year.
Ok those sound too much like resolutions, but I will do them but also I will have reinvestigated the possibility of Business School (I’m so scared by this that I’m not sure how to progress), Take an exam in DotNet so I can at least have something on my CV beyond just saying I worked for x number of years in DotNet and was a build captain specialising in CruiseControl.Net, Nant, Nunit, Fitnesse, C#, VB.Net blah blah blah.
Well time to go to sleep I suppose….
Ps. To the Man in the Know, was it Greece or France I met you? (Wild Guess alert!)
